Unlike schools, kindergarten eligibility is not based on zoning, so you can enrol your child at a kindergarten of your choice.  It’s a good idea to visit your local kindergartens, talk with the teaching team and get a feel for the centre before you decide. You are welcome to pop in to any of our kindergartens in Auckland anytime and say hi!

Most kindergartens offer full day sessions. In some kindergartens, a shorter session is offered. You can choose the sessions and days that your child will attend.  Refer to the local kindergarten pages for hours available at the centre of your choice.

To enrol:

1. Get in touch and let us know your kindergarten of choice

Fill out our quick and easy contact form and let us know how to ‘Get in Touch’ with you and we will call or email you to walk you through how to register your child for kindergarten.

You may prefer to pop in and say hi at your local kindergarten and complete a kindergarten enrolment form in person. This is also a wonderful opportunity to meet the teaching team and to discover why kindergarten is a naturally better start.

2. We’ll be in touch when a spot opens up

If space isn’t currently available at your preferred kindergarten when you register, your child will be placed on a waitlist and we will let you know as soon as a spot becomes available.

When that happens, we will contact you to discuss a start date for your child to begin their kindergarten journey.

3. Before making your final decision

You may like to read this Join Us information booklet, visit the centre and also read the Education Review Office’s (ERO) report on your local kindergartens, these are available on your local centre pages.
